Survey: Teens Disapprove of Casual Sex: Despite massive marketing drives for morning-after pills, contraceptives and comprehensive sex ed, a study released in December by International Communications Research shows that an overwhelming majority of teens (85 percent) believe sex should only occur in long-term committed relationships.
The study was conducted in August and September 2003 and included 1,000 young people between the ages of 12-19, and 1,008 adults aged 20 or older.
