After a frustrating year of looking at schools, researching and visiting, my mom and I were both going insane. Story A public college can challenge faith and values: You could probably say I was raised in a “Catholic bubble.” I grew up in a traditional Catholic home, barely exposed to other religions or differing world views. We attend church on Sundays and my sisters and I all attended Catholic grade school and high school. When it came time to choose a college I chose Temple University.
