| Marie Daknis Marie E. Daknis (born Vitale) of Broomall, wife of the late Albert D. Daknis Sr., died April 24, 2004. A memorial Mass was celebrated April 29 at St. Pius X Church, Broomall. She was the mother of Stephen, Albert D. Jr. and Maria A. DiFonzo. Also survived by five grandchildren. Sister Patricia Deller Sister M. Patricia Ann Deller, I.H.M., previously known as Sister Maureen Stephen and the former Patricia Ann Deller, died April 29, 2004. She was 72. Born in Dallastown, Pa., Sister Patricia Ann entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1950. She served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese, the Harrisburg Diocese and in Arlington, Va. She was ministering in musical therapy at Holy Spirit Hospital, Harrisburg, at the time of her death. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 3 at Camilla Hall, Immaculata. Burial was at Immaculata. Surviving are a brother, William Deller, and members of her congregation. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sister Colette, D.C. Mary Friel Mary F. Friel (born Graham), 93, wife of the late Barney J. Friel, died April 25, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 29 at St. Matthew Church, Conshohocken. Burial was at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. She was the mother of Edward Friel, Mary McVeigh and Kevin Friel. Also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. John McCrea John B. McCrea of Lafayette Hill, husband of Helen McCrea (born Kaznocha), died May 7, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 12 at St. Philip Neri Church, Lafayette Hill. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. He was the father of Barbara Flanigan, Mary Patricia Uhland, Kathleen McCrea, Joan Banahan and Bernadette Sage. Also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Mary Smith. William McFadden William E. McFadden, 84, of Broomall, husband of Margaret McFadden (born McCusker), died May 7, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 11 at St. Anastasia Church, Newtown Square. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. He was the father of Kathleen Kyle and Janice McMaster. John McNicholas John P. McNicholas, 80, of Paoli, husband of Marilyn McNicholas (born Ferry), died May 1, 2004. Mr. McNicholas was president of Eagle Insurance Associates. He retired in 2000. During World War II he served in the Navy. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 6 at St. Norbert Church, Paoli. He was the father of Joseph, John, Michael, Mark, David, Gregory, Heather Malinowski and Jane. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Sarita O’Grady Sarita M. O’Grady of Flourtown died April 25, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 29 at St. Genevieve Church, Flourtown. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. She was the sister of William F. O’Grady and Elizabeth J. Smith. Also survived by a nephew. Nancy Papaleo Nancy Papaleo (born Domiano) died April 23, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 29 at St. John of the Cross Church, Roslyn. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. She was the mother of Frank Papaleo and daughter of John and Helen Domiano. She was a sister of Patricia Gambale and Marianne Coolbaugh. William Pullin Sr. William T. Pullin Sr., 82, of Norwood, husband of Mary Pullin (born Nelli), died May 9, 2004. Mr. Pullin worked for Atlantic Richfield Co. for 37 years. He retired in 1984. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Catholic War Veterans. He served in the Army during World War II. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 17 at St. Gabriel Church, Norwood. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. He was the father of Mary Agnes Vannelli, Helen Pullin, William T. Jr., Dorothy Cureton, Carol P. Kilcoyne, Kathy Murphy, Joanne Curran, Edward J. and Patricia Anne Pullin. Also survived by 23 grandchildren. He was a brother of George Pullin and Frances Gerace. Frank Regina Frank A. Regina, husband of the late Katie Regina, died May 6, 2004. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 12 at St. Monica Church. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon. He was a brother of Joseph Regina and Anna M. Mottola, and a cousin of Rita Marcucci. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Sister Stanislaus Rogowska Sister Stanislaus Rogowska, C.S.F.N., died April 29, 2004. She was 89 and a member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth for 76 years. She served the congregation in New York, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland and Pennsylvania. She retired to Mount Nazareth at 4001 Grant Avenue in 1999. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 3 at the provincialate chapel. Burial was at the community cemetery. Thomas Shannon 3rd Thomas F. Shannon 3rd., 81, of Limerick and formerly of Ardmore, husband of Betty Trindley Shannon, died May 8, 2004. Mr. Shannon was a retired assistant vice president for government relations at Drexel University. Earlier, he was development director at Rosemont College and public relations director at St. Joseph’s University. He served in the Army during World War ll. He was a former lector at St. Clare Parish, Linfield, and was a member of the Military Order of the World Wars. The funeral Mass was celebrated May 12 at St. Clare Church, Linfield. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. He was the father of Michele Gallagher, Kathleen Sonnad, Jane Shannon, Thomas 4th and Mark. Also survived by nine grandchildren and a sister.
