City scholarship now open to all students
After recent urging by members of the Philadelphia City Council to include non-public school students in grants toward first-year college expenses, Mayor John F. Street and U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.) announced July 19 the scholarship program has been expanded to encompass graduating seniors of non-public schools who reside in the city.
