Nearly 400 priests of the Archdiocese graced the Chapel of St. Martin of Tours at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood for the 10th annual Day of Sanctification for Priests on Tuesday, Nov. 30.  
First adult catechism for U.S. Catholics The nation’s bishops have approved a “U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults” — the first official national catechism in this country aimed specifically at adults.
Spanish liturgical texts approved for U.S.
To meet the needs of the growing number of Spanish-speaking Catholics in the United States, the U.S. bishops unanimously approved Spanish-language liturgical texts that formally incorporate important Latin American rituals in U.S. worship services.

Play may have cost St. Joseph's Prep championship: Thanks to the invention of the VCR, people not only were able to attend Cardinal O’Hara’s 14-13 upset Catholic League Red Division championship victory over St. Joseph’s Prep Saturday night at Villanova Stadium, they had an opportunity to tape the televised event so they could come home and watch it again.
