Sister Catherine Griffin
Sister Catherine Griffin, S.S.J., formerly Sister Michael Xavier, died Nov. 8, 2004. She was 81.
Born in Philadelphia, Sister Catherine entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1940.
She served in the Philadelphia and Baltimore Archdioceses and the Allentown and Camden Dioceses.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 11 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown. Burial was at the community cemetery.
Surviving are brothers Thomas and John Griffin; a sister, Mary Arnold (Millard); sisters-in-law Winne Griffin and Marie Griffin, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and members of her congregation.
She was preceded in death by brothers Walter, Joseph and Edward, and a sister, Sister Walter Catherine, S.S.J.


Sister Lillian Griffin
Sister Lillian Marie Griffin, I.H.M., the former Lillian A. Griffin, died Nov. 3, 2004 at the age of 89.
Born in Philadelphia, Sister Lillian entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1935. She served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Allentown Diocese. In 1998, she retired to Camilla Hall, Immaculata.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at Camilla Hall. Burial was at Immaculata.
Surviving are members of her congregation.


Eugene Judge
Eugene F. Judge, husband of the late Margaret R. Judge (born Wall), died Nov. 12, 2004.
Mr. Judge was a master plumber for many years. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 17 at Nativity B.V.M. Church. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem
He was the brother of Mary Hoyt, Kathleen Eife, the late Edward, Jack, Thomas and Patricia Mansfield.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.


Sister Veronica Murphy
Sister Veronica Murphy, S.N.D., died Nov. 20, 2004 while attending a retreat with the senior class from the Academy of Notre Dame, Villanova.
Born in Philadelphia, Sister Veronica had been a member of the Sisters of Notre Dame for more than 63 years. She taught in the Baltimore Archdiocese for more than 20 years. While at the Academy of Notre Dame for 29 years, she was involved in teaching, tutoring and working in the library.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 23 at St. John Neumann Church, Bryn Mawr. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
Surviving are her sister, Sister Marie Marguerite, S.N.D., who is also at the academy, and members of her congregation.


Anna Regula
Anna I. Regula (born Sabol) of Ardsley, wife of the late John W. Regula, died Nov. 16, 2004.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 19 at Queen of Peace Church, Ardsley. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. She was the mother of John J., Thomas A., and Carol R. Shoemaker. Also survived by five grandchildren.


Mary Robinson
Mary M. Robinson (born Clark) of Downington, wife of the late Lee G. Robinson, died Nov. 14, 2004.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 17 at St. Martha's Manor, Downingtown. Burial was at St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown. Surviving are two nieces.


Sister Fidelis Shrive
Sister Fidelis Ellen Shrive, S.H.C.J., 67, a Sister of the Holy Child Jesus for 42 years, died of multiple sclerosis complicated by cancer Nov. 17, 2004.
Born in Philadelphia, Sister Fidelis spent 16 years in the Philadelphia Archdiocese. She also served as chaplain at Harlem Hospital, New York City, and later did parish work.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 20 at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, Bryn Mawr. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. Surviving are two cousins and members of her congregation.


Sister Margaret Sullivan

Sister Margaret Christine Sullivan, O.S.F., the former Rita Mary Sullivan, died Nov. 12, 2004.
She was 89 and a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 70 years.
Born in Boston, Mass., Sister Margaret Christine served in education ministry. She served 29 years in the Boston Archdiocese; 20 years in the Philadelphia Archdiocese, and 10 years in the Trenton Diocese.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 17 at Assisi House, Aston. Burial was at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Aston.
Surviving are members of her congregation.


Mary Sullivan
Mary Adele Sullivan, 48, of Somers Point, N.J., died Nov. 12, 2004.
Formerly of Drexel Hill and Ocean City, N.J., Mrs. Sullivan moved to Somers Point two years ago.
She formerly was a registered nurse at Linwood Convalescent Center in Linwood, N.J.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 15 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Ocean City. Burial was at Palermo, N.J.
She was the mother of Mary A. Sullivan, Anne M. Sullivan, Kelley M. Sullivan and Kevin S. Sullivan Jr. Also survived by one grandchild. She was a sister of Eileen Piergiovanni, John P. White, Kevin J. White Francis X. White, Paul A. White, James M. White, Matthew White and Joseph White.


Sister Mary Trinitas
Sister Mary Trinitas, O.S.F., 85, died Nov. 16, 2004 at St. Joseph Villa, Reading.
Sister Mary Trinitas was in her 63rd year as a member of the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters.
She ministered in the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Allentown and Scranton Dioceses.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 18 at St. Joseph Villa.
Surviving are a brother, Chester Grablewski; two sisters, Antoinette Cabot and Helen Drymslski, and members of her congregation.
