George Daly
George C. Daly of West Chester, husband of Vi Daly (born Campagna), died April 16, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 20 at SS. Simon and Jude Church, West Chester. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. He was the father of George, Sue Zambino, Debbe Gold, Debbie West and Jackie Cantando. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a brother of John Daly.

Joseph Grandinetti Sr.
Joseph D. Grandinetti Sr., of Feasterville, husband of the late Margaret Grandinetti, died April 15, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 20 at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Feasterville. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park. He was the father of Joseph Jr., Donna Major and John. Also survived by five grandchildren.

Sister Catherine Laboure
Sister Catherine Laboure McDonald, S.S.J., formerly Dolores McDonald, died April 8, 2005 at the age of 75. Born in Philadelphia, Sister Catherine Laboure entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1947. She served in the Philadelphia and Newark Archdioceses and the Allentown and Camden Dioceses. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 13 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown. Burial was at the community cemetery. Surviving are a brother, Francis McDonald, also nieces, nephews and members of her congregation. She was preceded in death by brothers James and John; and a sister, Catherine O’Neill.

Sister Jane Miriam
Sister Jane Miriam Mallon, S.S.J., the former Jane E. Mallon, died April 5, 2005. She was 83. Born in Philadelphia, Sister Jane Miriam entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1939. She served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Alexandria and Allentown Dioceses. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 11 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown. Burial was at the community cemetery. Surviving are a sister, Mary Van Winkle, and members of her congregation. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sister Jane Margaret Mallon, S.S.J., and a brother, James Mallon.

James Neary
James F. Neary, 85, husband of the late Veronica E. Neary (born Walsh), died April 15, 2005. Mr. Neary was a member of former St. Stephen Parish and he was a 1938 graduate of Roman Catholic High School. He operated a trolley for 39 years and served in the Army during World War II. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 22 at St. Stanislaus Church, Lansdale. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. He was the father of Veronica Owens, Sharon Cox, Gerard and Kevin. Also survived by seven grandchildren.

Sister M. C. Ortyl
Sister Mary Cyprian Ortyl, C.S.S.F., a Felician Sister for 77 years, died April 1, 2005 at the age of 94. She was in residence at the infirmary at Lodi, N.J.
Sister Cyprian was an elementary school educator and taught in schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel in Lodi. Burial was at the community cemetery in Lodi. Surviving are a nephew and members of her congregation.

Joseph Ott
Joseph R. Ott, 67, husband of Barbara Ott, died March 20, 2005. Mr. Ott was former circulation manager of The Daily News and The Philadelphia Inquirer for 35 years. He retired in 2001. The funeral Mass was celebrated March 23 at St. John Neumann Church, Mt. Laurel, N.J. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. He was the father of Jeremy, Ensigns Jared and Justin, and Jennifer Stensky. Also survived by sisters Kathleen Schmidt, JoAnn Prodoehl; brothers John and Robert Ott. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael and a sister, Mary Simons.

Francis Richardson Jr.
Francis J. Richardson Jr., 68, of Darby, husband of Maureen Richardson, died April 15, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated April 19 at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Darby. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
He was the father of Michael, Frankie, Jennifer, Danny, Christina, Kelly and Nicole. Also survived by a number of grandchildren. He was a brother of Walter Richardson.

Sister Marie Tierney

Sister Marie Agnes Tierney, I.H.M., the former Anna I. Tierney, died March 18, 2005. She was 90. Born in Philadelphia, Sister Marie Agnes served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese. The funeral Mass was celebrated March 22 at Camilla Hall, Immaculata. Burial was at Immaculata. Surviving are members of her congregation.

Sister M. C. Williams
Sister M. Catherine Williams, I.H.M., the former Sister Regina Christi, died March 22, 2005 at the age of 75. Born in Philadelphia, Sister Catherine Williams served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese and the Harrisburg and Arlington Dioceses. Her last teaching assignment was at Immaculata University where she taught for 16 years. The funeral Mass was celebrated March 28 at Camilla Hall, Immaculata. Burial was at Immaculata. Surviving are two nieces and two nephews, grandnieces, a grand-nephew and members of her congregation.
