Carnegie Concert
The Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr will host a concert at 8 p.m. Friday, June 3 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Feature performances by the Valley Forge Military Academy and College Regimented Choir and the Young Women’s Choral Society. Dr. William Carr will be guest pianist. CDA Convention
Margaret Guckin of Bensalem was elected state treasurer of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas at their 46th biennial convention May 21-25 in Greensburg, Pa. Letty Calvetti of Indiana, Pa. was elected state regent.

Polish Festival
St. Mary Parish in Consho-hocken will hold a Polish Fest from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 12 in the parish hall. Food and entertainment be will highlights.

Seminary Reunion

Pastor Retiring
Members of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Abington attended a May 15 Mass of Thanksgiving to mark the retirement of Father Joseph D. Bowen, pastor for the past 16 years.

K. of C. Breakfast

Foster Parents
Catholic Social Services is looking for married or single adults to become foster parents for children of all ages, races and religions. Homes are also needed for children with special medical or emotional needs, and for siblings who wish to live together. Information: 215-587-3960.

Vigils for Life
The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils for life at two area parishes. A vigil will be held Saturday, June 4 at Christ the King Church. Following Mass at 7 a.m., the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center. A vigil will also be held June 4 at 8 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, West Chester. Following Mass, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion site.

The Sacred Heart Novena of Masses will be held at 7:30 p.m. from May 26 through June 3 at Visitation Monastery, 5820 City Avenue. ... A healing Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 3 at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, Havertown. ... Father Marian Zalecki will celebrate Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine in Doylestown.
