Rose Aquila
Rose Aquila (born Catania), 90, wife of Anthony Aquila, died Nov. 5, 2005.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 9 at Our Lady of Consolation Church. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
She was the mother of Joseph, Angela DiPietro, Sara Morrone and the late Rosario. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Joseph Armstrong
Joseph S. Armstrong of Media, husband of the late Elizabeth M. Armstrong (born Guille), died Nov. 4, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 9 at St. Pius X Church, Broomall. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. He was the father of Joseph S. and Diane Thomas. Also survived by four grandchildren.

Luke Gallagher
Luke F. Gallagher, husband of Julia T. Gallagher (born Levine), died Nov. 5, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 9 at Resurrection of Our Lord Church. He was the father of Kathleen Bracken. Also survived by two grandchildren. He was a brother of Thomas Gallagher, Lillian Kelly and the late John and Marian Gallagher.

Coleman Jones
Grace Coleman Jones, died Oct. 27, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 4 at St. Cyprian Church. Burial was at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Regina and son-in-law, Joseph Brake Jr.

Albert Knowles
Albert W. Knowles, husband of Dorothy E. Knowles (born Stackhouse), died Nov. 4, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at Our Lady of Calvary Church. He was the father of Elizabeth A. Hunter and Diane M. Coons. Also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

John McCartney
John P. McCartney, 77, of Norwood, husband of Dorothy McCartney (born Siebodnick), died Oct. 24, 2005. Mr. McCartney was a retired quality-control inspector for Westinghouse Corp. He was past president of the Norwood Swim Club and a former building inspector for Norwood Borough. The funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 27 at St. Gabriel Church, Norwood. He was the father of John T., Kate Drew, Joy Crawford and Jim McCartney. Also survived by six grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Grace Hehn. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Manchin.

Paul McGann
Paul L. McGann of Spring House Estates, husband of the late Margaret McGann (born Nikolaus), died Nov. 5, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at St. Philip Neri Church, Lafayette Hill. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon. He was the father of Jeanette M. Lamb. Also survived by two grandchildren.

Paul Mullin Jr.
Paul F. (Saul) Mullin Jr., 54, died Oct. 21, 2005. He was the son of Elizabeth Mullin (born Heath) and the late Paul F. Mullin Sr. The funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 26 at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, East Lansdowne. Burial was at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. He was a brother of Msgr. Thomas M. Mullin, Barbara A., Noreen, Elizabeth Powers, Kathleen Altman and the late Anita Mullin Carr. Also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews.

Sister Ann Proctor
Sister Ann Immaculate Proctor, O.S.F., died Nov. 4, 2005. She was 88 and a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia for 61 years. Born in Chester, Sister Ann Immaculate ministered in the Philadelphia Archdiocese for 38 years. She ministered in health care as a nurse and pastoral visitor and served at St. Mary Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. She also served in the Wilmington Diocese and Baltimore Archdiocese. In 1990, She moved to Assisi House, Aston. The funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 10 at Assisi House. Burial was at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Aston. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Lauren Proctor, nieces, nephews and members of her congregation.

Madeline Santoro
Madeline Santoro (born Pistilli) of Fort Washington, wife of Frank D. Santoro, died Oct. 23, 2005. The funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 27 at St. Joseph Church, Ambler. Burial was at St. Patrick Cemetery. She was the mother of Marie Reilley, Frances Thomas and Nancy Schappell. Also survived by three grandchildren. She was a sister of Anthony, George and John Pistilli.
