Handicapped Retreat
A weekend retreat for the handicapped will be held from Friday, March
31 to Sunday, April 2 at the Variety Club in Trooper, Pa., sponsored by
the Campus Ministry of Villanova University. For more information, call

National Title
Georgetown University recently hosted the 43rd annual Conference of the
North American International Model United Nations in Washington, D.C.
The four-day invitational competition brought together more than 300 high
schools, with more than 3,000 students. For the third time in the last
four years, a team of students from Father Judge High School has taken
national honors at the conference. The team shared this year’s award
with Regis Jesuit High School of Denver, Col., and Mira Costa High School
of Los Angeles, Calif. Tim Dooley, a senior at Father Judge, took top
individual honors.
Passion Play
In observance of Holy Week, a live Passion Play will be presented at 2
p.m. Palm Sunday, April 9 at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5th Street
and Girard Avenue.

Lenten Program
Dr. Ana Maria Cantanzaro will conduct the Lenten program Wednesday, March
29 at Christ the King Parish Hall, beginning with Mass at 7:30 p.m. She
is a nurse and professor of Health Care Ethics at La Salle University.

A morning exploring humor, healing, holiness and hope will be held from

Vigils for Life
The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils for life
at two area parishes. A vigil will be held Saturday, April 1 at Christ
the King Church. Following Mass at 7 a.m., the clergy and congregation
will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center. A vigil will also
be held April 1 at 8 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, West Chester. Following
Mass, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion
site.
Healing Mass
A healing Mass will be celebrated at 7:15 p.m. Friday, April 7 at Annunciation
B.V.M. Church in Havertown. Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m.
