Disability Mass
A celebration of the Eucharist for persons with disabilities
and their families, care providers and friends will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 30 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. The
celebration is sponsored by the Department for Pastoral Care for Persons
with Disabilities and the Deaf Apostolate. Bishop Robert P. Maginnis will
be the principal celebrant, and Father William E. Dean will deliver the

Tribute Mass
A community-wide memorial tribute Mass, marking the first anniversary
of the death of Pope John Paul II, will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Sunday,
April 2 at St. Adalbert Church, Allegheny Avenue and Thompson Street,
in the city’s Port Richmond section.
Oxford Circle News
Graduates of St. Martin of Tours School at Oxford Circle are
invited to attend a Mass and breakfast Sunday, April 2. Mass will be celebrated
at 9:30 a.m. with breakfast to follow in the parish hall. Jim Murray,
the former general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles, will be the guest

The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils
for life at two locations. Following Mass at 9 a.m. Friday, April 7 at
St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, the clergy and congregation
will pray the rosary at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. ... Father Rayford
E. Emmons will conduct a vigil following the 9 a.m. Mass Saturday, April
8 at the Newman Center, 3720 Chestnut Street. The group will pray the
rosary at an abortion center and return to Newman Center for Benediction.
