Prayer:
A call to prayer
Prayer is a dialogue of love. In a special way I would like to recommend part four of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It is indeed a beautiful presentation on Christian prayer.

Profile:
Called to ‘work tenderly’ with God
Sister Lorraine McGrew grew up surrounded by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (I.H.M.) so naturally when she felt called to the religious life she sought them out.

Fresh Faith:
Hair today, gone tomorrow -
‘Makeovers’ with a purpose

It all began with one young woman wondering what she could sacrifice for Lent. That grew into a school event, where several students from St. Dorothy School in Drexel Hill donated their hair for Locks of Love, the nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children who suffer from long-term hair loss.

Prisoner pen pal program delivers hope to inmates
When 68-year-old Sophie Weber of Maternity B.V.M. Parish goes to the post office, her eyes often well up with tears.
