Shore Prayer Day
Vacationers at the New Jersey seashore will be able to avail themselves of a day of prayer Wednesday. June 21 at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Wildwood Crest. Mary Refuge of Sinners Prayer Group will sponsor the day, which begins with prayer and praise at 10 a.m. Father Rayford E. Emmons will speak at 10:30 a.m. A group discussion will be held at 1 p.m., followed by Mass and anointing of the ill at 3:45 p.m.

Generation Life
Generation Life is a movement of young people spreading the pro-life and chastity message. The group will be at the New Jersey shore, from June 14 to 17 and from June 21 to 24 , visiting the beaches, streets and boardwalks, offering information and conversation about chaste living to high school seniors during their Senior Week. This the fifth annual Senior Week outreach project for Generation Life.

At the Beach
St. Martin of Tours School at Oxford Circle is holding a reunion of all classes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 8, in Wildwood, N.J., at Schellenger Avenue and the beach [3600 Boardwalk]. Entertainment is scheduled. Information: 215-535-2962.

Remembrance Day
Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the West Chester Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians will mark “Remembrance Day,” honoring deceased members of the I.H.M. congregation at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, in the chapel at Camilla Hall. The AOH Irish Thunder Band will participate.

Serra Luncheon
Members of the Serra Club of Philadelphia will attend a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Archdiocesan Office Center, 222 N. 17th Street. New board members will be installed.

Celebrating Father’s Day
Mark Father’s Day with your family and the Lord by attending the Corpus Christi procession at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in Abington on Sunday, June 18. The procession starts after the noon Mass, moving to Roychester Park for Benediction. A reception will follow at the church. Information: 215-886-3456.

Theology on Tap
The Young Adult Ministry of the Office for Youth and Young Adults will sponsor “Theology on Tap” evenings of discussion and fellowship on Thursdays, from July 13 to Aug. 17 at Finnegan’s Wake, 3rd and Spring Garden Streets. Each evening begins with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Information: 215-965-4635.

Foster Parents
Catholic Social Services ia looking for single adults or married couples to become foster parents for children of all ages, races and religions. Homes are also needed for children with special medical or emotional needs and for siblings who wish to live together. Information: 215-587-3900.

Class Reunion
St. Christopher Parish School in the Somerton area is planning a September reunion for the classes of ’58 and ’59. Grads are asked to call 215-934-6206 for information.

Charismatic Renewal
The University of Scranton will host the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Aug. 4 through Aug. 6. Among the speakers will be Father Trevor Nathasingh, a convert to Catholicism from a Hindu-Muslim background, and Father Benedict J. Groeschel, C.F.R., director of the Office for Spiritual Development of the New York Archdiocese. Information: 570-344-2214.

Vigils for Life
Father John R. McFadden will conduct the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, June 24, at Presentation B.V.M. Church in Cheltenham. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 a.m. at Tabor Road Medical Center, followed by Mass at 8 a.m. at Presentation. A vigil will also be held at 6:30 a.m., June 24, at 8th and Cherry Streets in Center City, followed by Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.
