Church in the Tacony section of Philadelphia had to perform one
of the most difficult tasks of his life. Of all of the congregations
he’d led this was the flock that touched him most; he didn’t
want to hurt them. He had to tell them he was resigning his pulpit
because he was becoming a Catholic.

reigned in local Planned Parenthood clinics during “Free EC Day,”
the Dec. 6 nationwide campaign to distribute free emergency contraception.
Pro-life protestors scattered throughout the area reported some clinic
workers did not seem to know how to dispense the drug, and allegedly
gave it to a one minor without a prescription.
