Prayer: Church
declares St. John Bosco’s mother venerable
She was known among the abandoned boys of Turin, Italy, as “Mamma
Margaret.” To her own son, St. John Bosco, she was both mother
and colleague in the work that would become his life’s mission.
Leisure: Let there be humor
In an industry in which comedians range from profane to downright
mean-spirited, Warner Bros. Television’s “Thou Shalt Laugh”
