Coffee, Chocolate, Gifts
The Peace and Justice Committee and Young Adult Ministry of St. Denis Parish will sponsor the first St. Denis Parish Fair Trade Sale at the parish Grimes Center (2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown) on three dates: from 10:30 a.m to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 4; from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, and, on Sunday, March 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will feature fairly traded handcrafts made by low-income artisans from around the world, along with chocolate and coffee.

Antique Show

Mass of Anointing of the Sick

Cardinal Justin Rigali will celebrate a Mass of Anointing of the Sick at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at Corpus Christi Parish. Week-one of a novena to St. Peregrine will precede the Mass at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel. Call (215) 855-1311 for information.

Bereavement Support
The Bereavement Ministry of Assumption B.V.M. Parish, Feasterville, will hold a support group for those who lost a loved one through death beginning at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 5, in the rectory meeting room. Pre-registration is required. Vigils for Life
The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils for life at two locations. Following Mass at 9 a.m. Friday, March 9, at St. John Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a Crozer-Chester abortion site. Father Rayford E. Emmons will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 10 at Newman Hall, 3270 Chestnut Street. After Mass, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion site.

First Friday Mass

The Visitation Monastery, 5820 City Ave., will celebrate its monthly First Friday Mass to honor the Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, in the chapel. All are invited.

Padre Pio Prayer Group
The Padre Pio Prayer Group will meet March 3 at Holy Savior Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown. The rosary will be prayed at 9:40 a.m., followed by Mass at 10 a.m. A meeting follows Mass.

Feast Day Events
The Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament announce the following events to honor St. Katharine Drexel: feast day Mass at noon on Saturday, March 3, in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul; scholarships awarded to essay contest winners at the 10 a.m. Mass, Sunday, March 4, in St. Elizabeth Chapel at the Motherhouse of the Sisters, Bensalem.

Novena
The Parish of St. Katharine Drexel will hold a weekly novena to its patron saint each Thursday, beginning March 8 at the parish (20th and Providence Avenues, Chester). The novena will be prayed every Thursday after the 8 a.m. Mass and at 7 p.m. with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. For information, call (610) 872-3731.

Lenten Series
