Twelve Step Spirituality

Returning to Church
St. Ephrem Church will conduct an ongoing series, “Catholics Returning Home,” on six consecutive Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning April 12, in the school library. Reunion
St. Thomas More’s Class of 1957 will hold its 50th Reunion from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Ramada Inn, Essington. Wives are welcome. Lecture and Book-Signing
The Historical Society of Pennsylvania will feature the author Richard N. Juliani at a lecture and book-signing on Wednesday, April 11 at the Historical Society, 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia. Eucharistic Reflection

Stations of the Cross
The Youth Groups of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Denis Parish will “Walk the Way of the Cross” beginning at 9:30 a.m. Good Friday, April 6. The walk will begin at St. Denis Parish, Havertown, and end at Sacred Heart Church, Manoa. For more information, call Kathy Morley at (610) 449-4950.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Philadelphia, will sponsor the Outdoor Way of the Cross at 7 p.m. Good Friday, April 6. The devotion will begin at Houston Playground, 900 Grakyn Lane.

Vigils for Life
The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils for life at two locations. Following 9 a.m. Mass on Friday, April 13, at St. John Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at the Crozer-Chester abortion site. Father Rayford Emmons will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Newman Center, 3720 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia. After Mass the congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion site.

Black Catholic History Bus Tour

The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a Philadelphia Black Catholic Historical Bus Tour from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21. The tour will meet at SS. Grant Writing Workshop

The Franciscan Ministries Foundation will host a grant writing workshop from April 16 to 20 at the Franciscan Spiritual Center, 609 S. Convent Road.
