Gregory Heisler of St. Denis School in Havertown
has captured first place in an eighth-grade essay contest sponsored
by the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament of the St. Katharine Drexel
Mission Center and Shrine in Bensalem.

kids’ hands, faith-filled art
Visitors did not see a lot of finger paintings and coloring-book
cartoons on display at the sixth annual St. Bernard Art Exhibit,
which drew more than 300 parents with their children to the May
23 opening reception at the school.
