years ago, Carolyn Jenkins’ husband was killed in a car accident.
The following month, her mother-in-law, who had been living with her,
passed away. Soon thereafter Jenkins was informed that she had only
a few months to live — unless she received a liver transplant.
And shortly after that, Carolyn’s house in the Appalachian region
of West Virginia, burned to the ground, killing her only child, Leann,
and leaving Jenkins homeless.
