La celebración comienza a las 2 p.m. con representantes de más de 20 países que constituyen la riqueza de esta «herencia», en procesión, continuando la misa a las 2:30 p.m.

Join us for the Hispanic Heritage Mass
On Sunday, Oct. 28, our Cardinal Justin Rigali will celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Mass in our Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul on the Parkway. The celebration begins at 2 p.m., with representatives of more than 20 countries that make up the richness of this “heritage,” in procession, with the Mass following at 2:30 p.m.

Larry Mendte is the CBS Channel 3 news anchor. Bishop Edward Hughes is the retired Bishop of Metuchen, N.J. Margie Kernickie is the coordinator of Handicapped Encounter Christ. Phil Martelli is the coach of the St. Joseph’s University men’s basketball team. Bill McCusker is president of Cardinal O’Hara High School. Sister Constance Marie Touey is co-principal of St. Francis de Sales School in West Philadelphia. And they are all products of St. Philomena Parochial School in Lansdowne. That’s a lot of talent for a little school.
