Anniversary Celebration
Conwell-Egan Catholic High School will host a “Fifties Night”

Lenten Day of Prayer
The Mother Boniface Spirituality Center will hold a Lenten day of prayer,
“A Time to Fast and Feast,” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday,

Lenten Mini-Retreat
The St. Anastasia Parish adult formation and education program will sponsor
a Lenten mini-retreat, “You Gotta Have Heart,” from 9:45 a.m.
to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 in St. Anastasia School. Participants
are invited to begin by attending 9 a.m. Mass in the church. There is

Casino Trip
The Ladies’ Association of Conwell-Egan Catholic High School will
host a bus trip to the Showboat Casino on Sunday, Feb. 17. The bus will
leave the school parking lot at 11 a.m. and return at about 9 p.m. Cost:

Vigils for Life
• Augustinian Father Augustine M. Esposito will conduct the Helpers
of God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, Feb. 16. Following
Mass at 7 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Center City, the clergy
and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center and
return to St. John’s for benediction.
• Father John R. McFadden will conduct a vigil for life Saturday,
Feb. 23 at Presentation B.V.M. Church, Cheltenham. The rosary will be
prayed at 6:30 a.m. at a Tabor Road abortion center, followed by 8 a.m.
Mass at Presentation Church.
Separated and Divorced Support
A Separated and Divorced support group will meet at St. Patrick Parish

Lenten Lecture Series
St. Monica Parish, Berwyn, will host Father Richard Malloy speaking on
the subject of his book, “A Faith that Frees: Catholic Matters for

Prison Art Show
The Prison Art Show is being held through March 20 at the Lincoln Financial
Mural Arts Center at the Thomas Eakins House, 1729 Mt. Vernon St., Philadelphia.
The show features art work created by men involved in the mural arts program
at the State Correctional Institute at Graterford, and exhibits of mural-
making from the Philadelphia Prison System, the Youth Study Center and

• Camerata Ama Deus, a chamber orchestra of Baroque instruments,
