Congratulations
to our Catholic school students
CS&T school subscription drive returns were very encouraging,
and showed increases in new subscribers and gift subscriptions. More than
119 schools participated this year, contributing to the subscriber rolls
and making a real difference in the Archdiocese.
The 2007-08 subscription drive has once again proven how our archdiocesan
students contribute to the mission of The Catholic Standard & Times.
Students provided the newspaper with more than 900 subscriptions, and
our parish schools throughout the archdiocese received almost $4,500 in
cash-back awards for their participation.
Online purchases proved to be a convenient and easy method for subscribing.
The circulation staff worked diligently to process those subscriptions.
Prizes were awarded in categories that included grant and scholarship
money, which The Catholic Standard & Times provides to student participants.
Category awards were calculated from subscriptions sold, and the students
received drawing awards according to the number of subscriptions they
sold.
The Catholic Standard & Times presented additional student awards,
including VISA gift cards and gift certificates, bike bottles, bicentennial
back packs, portable San Disk MP3 players and Apple iPods.
