Vigils for life
The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will conduct vigils for life at two locations. Following Mass at 9 a.m. Friday, June 13, at St. John Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at the Crozer-Chester abortion site. A vigil will also be held following the 9 a.m. Mass Saturday, June 14, at the Newman Center, 3720 Chestnut Street. The group will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center.

Annual Feast Day
— The 86th annual feast day celebration will be held at St. Barnabas Church, Philadelphia, where a solemn Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 8. Festivities will continue after Mass in St. Barnabas school yard with traditional Italian music, entertainment, various authentic Italian food and other activities. — Special Memorial Mass Celebration will be held at Holy Cross Church, Springfield, Friday evening, June 13. A solemn Mass in Honor of St. Anthony will be held at 6 p.m. The Holy Cross annual carnival, will follow. For further information, please contact the Holy Cross Rectory (610) 626-3321.

A Mass for Healing
Annunciation B.V.M Parish, Havertown, will hold a First Friday evening Mass for Healing at 7:15 p.m. Friday, June 6. The rosary will be prayed beginning at 7 p.m. All are welcome. The church is handicappedaccessible.

Charismatic Healing Service
St. Martha Church, Philadelphia, will hold a Charismatic Healing Service at 6:45 p.m. Friday, June 13.

Youth for the Eucharist
St. Titus Parish will hold Eucharistic Adoration at 7 p.m. Sunday, June, 8 at St. Titus Church in East Norriton. Bethany, the parish’s contemporary music ministry, will lead the song. Lansdale Catholic Graduation
Lansdale Catholic High School will award diplomas to 185 members of the Class of 2008, its 56th graduating class, at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown. Rev. Msgr. Arthur E. Rodgers, vicar for Montgomery County will preside.

Conference on End-of-Life issues
Neumann College will host a conference entitled “The Final Journey: Pastoral and Ethical Perspective on End-of-Life Issues” from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 16. The conference is designed for health care providers, pastoral professionals, clergy, and family members who care for the dying. James Houck, and Sr. Suzanne Mayer, IHM, will present the program.

Women’s Health
The Olde Church of St. Andrew, Newtown, will hold a Naprotechnology informational seminar at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 17. Naprotechnology is a women’s health science for family planning, with reproductive health monitoring and maintenance. The cost is free. Padre Pio Prayer Group
The Padre Pio Prayer Group will meet for the rosary at 8:30 a.m. June 7 at Holy Savior Church, Norristown. Mass and a meeting will follow at 9 a.m.

Flea Market

Polish Food Festival
St. Mary Church, Conshohocken, will host a Polish Food Festival from 12 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 8. This traditional social event includes food, dancing, crafts, games of chance and fun for all ages. All are welcome to come and join in the festivities.

Fundraiser
A fundraiser for St. John the Baptist Church at Gorgas Park, between Ridge Avenue and Hermitage Street, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21. The rain date is Sunday, June 22.
