Vigils for Life
Augustinian Father William A. Recchuti will conduct the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, June 21. Following Mass at 7 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Center City, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center and return to St. John’s for Benediction.
Married Couple Prayer Retreat
Marriage Retorno, a couples prayer retreat, will be held July 12-13 at Daylesford Abbey, Paoli. This is a Scripture-based retreat for married couples wanting to deepen their relationship with one another in the Lord. The cost is $250 per couple. Space is limited. Day of Rejoicing
Assumption Church, Wildwood Crest, N.J., will host “Day of Rejoicing: Do Not Be Afraid” on Wednesday, June 26. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. Mass is at 3:30 p.m. Bring brown bag lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. For more information, call (215)-523-1981.
Summer Worship Schedule
Daylesford Abbey will host worship services as follows:
Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, 8 a.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
Liturgy of the Hours: morning prayer at 7:30 a.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday; midday prayer at noon weekdays and Vespers at 4:30 p.m. daily.
Body of Christ Charismatic Prayer community meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m.

Basketball Camp

The King’s Men Beef-and-Beer Fundraiser
The King’s Men will hold a beef-and-beer fundraiser from 7 p.m.to midnight on June 28, 2008 at the Willow Grove VFM, 305 W. Moreland Road. Open bar, excellent food, great Irish music, indoor shuffle board, and much more. The cost is $30 for adults and $10 for children. Vocational Retreats
The Pallotine Brothers and Fathers will host a Live-in Experience vocations retreat from June 24 to June 27 in Philadelphia. Other available vocation retreats include the Legionaries of Christ from June 20 to June 22 in Thornwood, N.Y., and St. Mary’s Benedictine Monastery from July 2 to July 6 in Morristown, N.J.
