Vigils for Life
Father John R. McFadden will conduct the Helpers for God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, June 28 at Presentation B.V.M. Church, Cheltenham. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 a.m. at the Tabor Road abortion site, followed by Mass at 8 a.m. at Presentation Church.
Retreat and Mass
Visitation B.V.M. Parish will hold a retreat and Mass honoring St. John the Baptist, on Saturday, June 21, with the retreat at 10 a.m. and Mass at 3 p.m. A donation of $10 includes the cost of food. Family Day
The Malvern Retreat House will hold a family day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 22, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady to St. Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes. All are welcome. Registration is from noon to 1 p.m. Donations are $20 per family vehicle. The event will take place rain or shine.
Day of Rejoicing
Assumption Church, Wildwood Crest, N.J., will host a “Day of Rejoicing” on Thursday, June 26, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending with a Mass at 3:30 p.m. Bring a brown bag lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. For more information, call (609)-523-1981.

Guided Tours
The Ivy Mills Homestead and the historic district of St. Thomas the Apostle Church at Ivy Mills will offer free guided tours from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m on the fourth Sunday of each month from June 22 through October 26. The St. Thomas Historic District is located at 430 Valleybrook Road, Chester Heights, and the Willcox Homestead is located at Ivy Mills and Pole Cat roads in Concord Township. Both sites have free parking on the premises. The last tour begins at 3:30 p.m.
Immaculata Day
The College of Undergraduate Studies at Immaculata University is holding an “Immaculata Day” beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28 in the rotunda of Villa Maria Hall. Students entering in the fall and students wishing to transfer will have an opportunity to meet members of the faculty and administration, speak with Immaculata students and tour the campus facilities. Light refreshments will also be available.

Caregiver Meeting
Meetings for caregivers will be held on Thursday, June 26, at 1 p.m. at Holy Innocents Parish rectory and 7 p.m. at St. Leo Parish convent. All are welcome. Those who can’t make a meeting but may need assistance in caring for a loved one may contact Teresa at 215-624-1639.

Blood Drive
The St. James High School Alumni Association and the Second City Troop Rugby Football Club are sponsoring a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 30 at the “Doghouse,” 1499 E. 9th Street, Eddystone. European Tour
St. Columbkill Parish, Boyertown, is planning a European tour for June 2010 that will include the world famous Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany, a trip on the Glacier Express in Switzerland and visits to Austria and Lake Maggiore, Italy.
