July, 2008

The local office of the Anti-Defamation League, in cooperation with the Archdiocesan Office for Catholic Education and the Office for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs, is hosting the Bearing Witness Program at the Daylesford Abbey, Paoli, Pennsylvania, July 28-31, 2008. For four days, Catholic middle and high school educators will come together and receive extensive education and professional resources from scholars from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Anti-Defamation League. A highlight of the Summer Institute is a day trip to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. In addition to the four-day Summer Institute, each participant is expected to attend two after-school follow-up workshops scheduled during the following school year.

Encountering Other Faiths
This is an introductory seminar for faith communities/parishes desiring to explore interreligious dialogue and engagement.
Our Lady of Hope Parish will host the program for interested parishes in Cluster 19 on Tuesdays from August 26 through October 7 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.

September, 2008

Saturdays from September 13 through October 18: 10:00 AM - Noon

St. Isaac Jogues Parish will host the program for interested parishes in Cluster 53 on Saturdays from September 13 through October 18. The projected time is 10:00 AM till noon.
