The Office for Worship fosters liturgical renewal and the full, active participation in worship by coordinating ongoing spiritual formation and education in liturgy, music, art and environment. OFW serves the clergy, lay and religious of the Archdiocese by providing:

• Consultation on pastoral concerns regarding liturgical documents and practice
• Catechesis on the revised General Instruction of the Roman Missal
• Annual training workshops for new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
• Workshops for lectors, musicians, cantors and ministers of hospitality
• A monthly newsletter for clergy entitled, Rite Angle
• Assistance and resources for sacred music

OFW also oversees the implementation of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) as well as the building and design of new and recently renovated churches, chapels and oratories.
