In addition there will be a special reception held in honor of the exhibit on October 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the museum. The exhibit coincides with two milestones. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Office for Black Catholics and the 10th anniversary of the St. Peter Claver Center for Evangelization, which serves as a place for workshops, retreats and other gatherings to promote the Catholic faith among African Americans.
