Cardinal Rigali to "Bless the Baby Jesus"
Cardinal Rigali invites families and individuals throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelpia to a unique Advent Prayer Service - "Bless the Baby Jesus." Everyone is encouraged to bring an image or figurine of the Baby Jesus perhaps from their family Nativity Creche to be blessed by the Cardinal during the service.

Families and individuals are also invited to support those in need during this holiday season by bringing a donation for Catholic Social Services or new clothing for infants or young children to the service. This first annual event is an opportunity to reinforce the central place of Jesus Christ, whom we prepare to receive on Christmas, within the family. The service is sponsored by the Family Life Office, Respect LIfe Office and Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
